About Us

Uni has a rich tradition of excellence, and we take pride in our linguistic, ethnic, and gender identity diversity. Uni students were born all over the world, and speak over 23 different languages. As a result, we have one of the most welcoming and diverse campuses in the Los Angeles Unified School District. The attendance area that Uni serves encompasses the neighborhoods of West Los Angeles, Brentwood, Bel-Air, and Westwood. University High School’s student body reflects the diversity of Los Angeles, with students born in 47 different countries coming to us through LAUSD Choices from all over the city.
